SN 2023.01
Representing the triumph of nature over human folly. Life will always find a way regardless of the anthropocentric times, for the dead are the fertilizer of future generations. Shown at the Contemporary Art Center, Xavier University Art Galleries and The Cincinnati Art Academy: Cincinnati, Ohio. In conjunction with and original “Pomegranate Score” by Nihal Ahmed. This piece symbolizes the fight that humankind have been waging on nature, the way that nature will always preserve and conquer back to the tranquil state of stasis. The skulls represent the human form and the way we are everywhere and try to cover nature. The pomegranate fruit in the center represents that nature will bear her fruit with or without human intervention.
